Carl has 20 years of experience in semiconductor technology and patent licensing.
Carl currently leads the Semiconductor Licensing division at MOSAID, which specializes in memory, microprocessor, and fabrication process technologies. His work focuses on the development of license proposals and business discussions, as well as strategic partnership and acquisition programs. Since 2011, Carl has participated in licensing discussions with virtually all of the major manufacturers in the semiconductor industry.

Previously, Carl worked at TechInsights (formerly Semiconductor Insights) where he has authored more than 100 competitive intelligence reports on advanced microelectronic products including processors, DRAM, Flash, and emerging memories.

Carl graduated with a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Montreal, and obtained his M.Sc. in Semiconductor Physics in collaboration with École Polytechnique.
